| Scope: Removed ceiling tiles and asbestos containing insulation ahead of sprinkler and HVAC contractors in approximately 4,000 separate locations as part of the sprinkler and HVAC retrofit.
Tiles were later reinstalled to match existing. The asbestos materials had to be removed using the MT-3 Portable Isolation Enclosure because it was the only alternative to closing down sections of the building under "full containment" in order
to properly remove the asbestos materials. Building occupants include the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Director of the U.S. Environmental Projection Agency and the Director of O.S.H.A. The work required Southern crews to work around modular
furniture and expensive office furnishings.
