| Scope: Removed 1,150,000 square feet of asbestos ceiling tile at night from government occupied office spaces ahead of sprinkler and new ceiling installations.
Structure and Complexity: Air monitoring firms hired separately by the owner, GSA, and Southern confirmed clear sample analysis each night for re-occupancy of the building the next morning. Southern had to work over and around existing furnishings while completing the abatement of 5,000 to 12,000 square feet of ceiling tile per night using the MT-3 Portable Isolation Enclosure abatement system.
